LucyAnn Artistry

A life-long artist, LucyAnn is always looking for opportunities to translate the everyday into artistic expression. 
 

After completing her formal art studies in 2013 at Queensland University of Technology LucyAnn’s passion for creating has seen her continue learning and developing her practice through working with other artists and independently.

Having grown up on the Sunshine Coast and moving to Central Queensland for several years she enjoys a rural athletic. She is now living on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. She employing a range of styles and aesthetic from figurative to portraiture and dabbling in landscapes, LucyAnn’s passion is to capture the essence of the people and animals in her portraits and to explore the evocative aspects of landscapes.

LucyAnn works in several mediums from acrylic paint, watercolour paint, graphite and charcoal. And is currently developing her sculptural practice.  She looks to create art that communicates messages with an appealing aesthetic. 

Through accommodating her clients’ needs and challenging herself when resolving non-commissioned pieces, LucyAnn is constantly evolving both her approach and output.

LucyAnn having worked with a shearing team and on a range of properties, the outback lifestyle has become a vehicle for new inspiration.
